11-12-25   THOUGHTS

The thought that “it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure...” is awesome!  We are not alone!  We should stop grumbling and arguing,  and start rejoicing in the opportunities before us. We are light to the world, children of God!  We must “HOLD FAST THE WORD OF LIFE”!   Rom 5:4b-5   and proven character, hope;
5  and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
 

Php 2:12-16    So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling; 13  for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure. 14  Do all things without grumbling or disputing;  15  so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world,  16  holding fast the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I will have reason to glory because I did not run in vain nor toil in vain.

Our Prayer:
Father God, use us for Your good pleasure.  May we be light to a world that desperately needs THE LIGHT of eternity.   Work in us, O God.  May our lives lift You up,  and show Your Image to the souls we meet.  We praise Your great name and we thank you for being our God.   In the name of our Savior,   Amen.
